Shearing

Our 35 head of alpaca get shorn once per year. Due to our weather and climate, they usually get shorn during the first part of June. Our son-in-law, Jason Siffring, is our shearer. He has been shearing alpacas and llamas as well as sheep and goats since 2015. He attended a Matt Best shearing course in Ohio. He apprenticed along side Jerry Ladd for his first year. He has also been a part of the Flagstaff Wool and Fiber Festival since 2015. To contact Jason for shearing, please contact him via his High Plains Shearing Facebook page.
